thee or ที่ on its own will mean "at" for example อยู่ที่บ้าน "at home" and its used to call things by what they do(sorry if thats obscure) examples "ที่เหลาดินสอ"-pencil sharpener. "ที่พัก"-accommodation(literally place of rest)

ที่ is also used as a relative pronoun (in the sense of "which" or "who"), for example ผู้หญิงที่ผมชอบ pu-ying tee pom chop The girl (whom) I like, หนังสือที่คุณให้ผม nangsue tee khun hai pom The book (which) you gave me.

It is also used as a classifier for counting dishes, cups etc., for example ข้าวเหนียวสองที่ khaw niaw song tee Two plates of sticky rice.

Related to place: ที่จอดรถ tee jod rot - parking space, ที่นั่ง tee nang - a seat, ที่อยู่ tee yuu - address. Related to function: ที่เขี่ยบุหรี่ tee kiya buree - ashtray; ที่เปิดกระป๋อง tee bped kapong - can opener; ที่เปิดไวน์ tee bped wai - wine opener.
